How can I tell if the WeeRide K will fit my bike?

The seat generally fits all adult bicycles and is the only bike seat to fit on full suspension mountain bikes.  The only bike it will not fit on are those with drop racing handlebars. 
If in doubt, please email us a picture of your bike and we will probably be able to tell you by just looking.

What if I buy a WeeRide K and it does NOT fit my bicycle?

If you purchase a seat and it does not fit a bicycle, please return it to the point of purchase for a full refund.

Is there a weight limit on how large my child could be?

The seat carries a maximum weight of 18 kg

Is there a maximum height my child could be?

The only constraints on the height of a child are that their knees must fit under the handlebars. Usually by the time your child reaches 4/5 years both of you will be looking for an alternative.

Once the WeeRidke K is on my bicycle can I take it off easily?

Yes.  The permanent fixture is the steel mounting bar and the seat is attached to this by a single thumb screw making it very easy to take off and put back on.

How easy/hard is the WeeRide K to install?

You should be able to install it yourself in about 20 minutes if you are used to working on your bicycle.

Installed weight is just over 3.2Kg.

Why is the WeeRide K the best child bike seat?

The WeeRide K fits to nearly all bikes and importantly does not affect the steering due to the way it connects or the balance as it is centre and not front mounted.  It is also built to the highest specification with your child’s comfort and safety in mind.
